When we had a dog, he slept wherever he wanted, which was usually in the bed. Sweet!
On the couch, until they have to go in their "house" about 2 AM when Brian goes to bed.
The dog that I would LIKE to have (but the Cuban won't ALLOW me to have) would sleep on the floor BESIDE my bed. Can you drop a few hints for me?? Help a sistah out here!
Our puggle sleeps in her crate, after we spend 15 minutes chasing her around the house before bedtime.

sounds like fun Ernie. We had another Dachsund that liked to sleep in the cage!
